About McBuild
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. I, Leigh McMillan, am the founder and director of McBuild, and have been in the residential and commercial construction industry for over 20 years. During this time my team and I have restored, renovated and built a vast number of projects across the Eastern Greater Melbourne Suburbs including Kew, Balwyn, Doncaster and Surrey Hills.
We have a very experienced and dedicated team and take a lot of pride in the work we do. We are well known for our quality of work and believe in “attention to detail”. We are onsite Builders, so we are very hands on and in fact, we handle all the carpentry work in house. We provide great communication, forward thinking solutions and strive to get the best results for all involved.
We enjoy working on interesting and challenging products, and offering advice on working drawings, concept designs, and engineering plans. Our experience includes:

About Leigh McMillan
When I am not building, I enjoy spending my time with my family. We love the outdoors, new experiences, travelling, meeting new people and trying new cuisines and dishes. My personal passions include football and golf, and more recently plant-based living and doing more for our environment.

We were highly impressed with the services of Leigh and Matt from McBuild Pty Ltd. They installed a large (1.8m x 1.2m) skylight into our ceiling. The skylight had a cross beam from which two pendant lights were hung. It required them to move supporting beams in the roof, and to deal with a problematic lathe and plaster ceiling. They were professional and a pleasure to deal with. They came within budget and finished within the estimated timeframe. Leigh arranged various trades (an electrician and plasterer) to attend the job, who were also great. I would highly recommend McBuild Pty Ltd.
